Orca - Lightweight Wildfire

If the day ahead is looking like hours of work crafting fire breaks, preserve your energy by bringing a Lightweight Orca with you.

Each Lightweight Orca weighs in at 4.7 lbs and comes with a narrow 39” hickory handle giving it a lightweight feel that allows you to swing for hours. We’ve crafted this tool from durable T400 steel and its features include a hoe blade with a 5” width and 2.5” depth to handle and a pick that is 1.5” wide with a 3” depth to handle.

Equipped with an effective hoe and pick, the LW Orca is a great tool for when you need to cut roots, pick out rocks or roots in hard to reach places, create fire breaks, or build trenches to catch rolling debris when working on a slope.

While creating fire breaks, the Orca’s pair well with our Ravens if there are any roots that require a sharper edge.
