McLeod Wildfire Rake

This is our take on the classic McLeod tool, a tool most wildland firefighters are familiar with. With a head designed to help create firebreaks, clear slash material, and remove duff, our McLeod won’t disappoint when it comes to the clean up and extraction of broken-down earth materials.

Each McLeod comes equipped with a 55” round ash handle providing you with optimal reach as well as an ergonomic feel for raking and pulling during projects. The McLeod features an 11x11” head with substantial teeth on one end and a nice sized hoe on the other allowing you to sink this tool into the ground effortlessly and make quick work of extraction.

Just like the other tools in our lineup, the McLeod comes equipped with durable T400 steel to ensure longevity and reliability. We have also set our McLeod apart by strategically placing two holes in the head allowing other tools to slip in, so that you can carry three tools with ease.

For those occasions when you know you’ll need a sharper tool to break down materials before the McLeod can step in, try either of our Ravens. They are great tools for cutting through roots and smaller logs or trees that may stand in your McLeod’s way.
